About This Tour
"Witness one of nature's most magnificent spectacles on our full-day Samaná Whale Watching tour! Every year, between mid-January and late March, thousands of Humpback Whales migrate to the warm waters of Samaná Bay to mate and give birth. This is your chance to see these gentle giants breach, play, and slap their tails in their natural habitat.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the Dominican countryside to the Samaná Peninsula. Upon arrival, you will board a comfortable sightseeing boat and head out into the bay with our expert guides, who will help you spot the whales and share fascinating facts about their behavior.
After an awe-inspiring time on the water, we will head to the spectacular Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island. Here, you will enjoy a delicious, traditional Dominican buffet lunch right on the beach. Spend the rest of your afternoon relaxing on the pristine white sands, swimming in the turquoise waters, or sipping a refreshing Piña Colada before we make our way back to your hotel.
